This Kotuku flew down from the nesting site for a quick feed in the river. I loved the reflection in the water but the grasses on the bank behind made for a rather messy scene. So what to do? Here I’ve used photo textures to blend out the background and give a more unified image, whilst still retaining the reflection (which was a bit of a challenge for my modest Photoshop skills).
