As Heather has to keep reminding me - ‘it’s always worth rising early for a photo shoot’. It was certainly true during our time at Okarito Lagoon - wonderful colours in the sky, amazing reflection in the water and to top things off, some mist in the hills. This panorama was shot with a telephoto lens to compress the space between the hills. I don’t normally have much luck capturing ‘layers’ in a landscape, but on this morning the photography gods kept giving.
